Why helping others is selfish…

Did you know that the most selfish thing you can do is help others?

It’s true.

By consistently reaching out to help others, you fill up the universal bank of good will. It’s a divine principle.

The bible says it this way, “Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed, and shaken, and running over, they shall give into your bosom; for with that measure with which ye measure, it shall be measured to you again.” Luke 6:38

So, what is the most valuable thing we have? I would say it’s our connections. That’s why it only makes sense that if we go out of our way to help others increase their most valuable connections, it would eventually come back to us in floods.

It’s called sowing and reaping.

So that’s what we’re doing. And I’ve even developed a system so we can do it at exponentially increasing scale. That will put us in the unique position to be an incredible blessing to others. But, it will also be a blessing to us. Isn’t that selfish?

Would you like to see how it works? Stick to the end an I’ll show you.

Have you ever heard this saying?…

“The purpose of life is to discover your gift; the work of life is to develop it; and the meaning of life is to give your gift away.”

I believe this means that it’s our divine duty to live out our mission in life. And that’s exactly what is meant by the word righteousness as translated from the original Hebrew language.

We can understand these concepts from the Ancient Hebraic culture and the meanings of related terms in the same context.

The Ancient Hebrew people were a nomadic and they traveled through the wilderness. They followed marked paths from place to place, from oasis to oasis. If someone left the path, they could get lost forever like a soul “departed” from the way.

A righteous person is one who follows the path of God’s unique calling for their own life to develop and share their gifts. Only you can fulfill it. No one can do it for you. And throughout our life we can have several gifts and missions. They may blend, overlap, and one lead to another.

So every time you deviated from your mission, it would be considered wickedness and evil. In other words, unrighteous.

We get our modern word, righteous from the Old English word (rightwise) rihtwis, from riht + wis “wise, way, manner”. Or right-wiseness.

Do you know your mission? Are you on it today?

I know mine, and I’d like to share it with you. Maybe our missions are complimentary and we can work together.

Here’s my mission:

It’s simple, my mission is to help people to have the opportunity to be free and live in prosperity. I mean, people should have the right to find their own greatness without being stifled by others. …Good, right?

But, believe it or not, their are people in this world that think this is a radical idea and they oppose my mission. That’s why I can’t work with everyone. If someone is hostile to the cause of liberty and the freedom of opportunity for others to prosper, then they are set against my divine purpose. How could I support them?

In my own personal opinion, I believe haters are motivated by a spirit of greed, a mindset of scarcity and a lizard brain of emotional angst. I don’t have the time or patience to deal with their negativism so that’s where I have to draw the line.

And that’s why I’m looking for people, people that have the same mission as me, people that want to help others live a life of freedom and prosperity. I know you’re out there.

If that’s you, then just reading this article will strike a chord in your heart. It will resonate with your spirit. You’ll know it’s your mission too. This is your opportunity to stop squandering your own divine gifts.
